The skilled nursing will provide housing for seniors in need of 24 hour care who are recovering from injury or severe illness. These homes will include onsite staff consisting registered nurses (RN) certified nurses assistant (CNR) and licensed practical nurses (LPN).
There will be houses built for skilled nursing facilities including private or semi-private bedrooms per house with bathroom facilities attached to each room. Each home will have staff on site to oversee the maintenance and care of the home.
The Ferdinand and Gene-Phipps Complex for Seniors will provide the following:
This complex will provide living spaces as well as facilities to support the health and wellbeing of seniors, which will include medical and recreational facilities. The complex will be broken into three sections; skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living.
Although we provide the independent living, it is a bi-product of the skilled and assisted living components of the complex. Those who participate as independent live ins can become volunteers and can participate in the quality of life provided on the complex, however they will not be directly funded by the foundation.
The assisted living will provide housing for seniors who have special needs and may not be able to live alone. Seniors will receive assistance with their activities for daily living such as cooking meals, getting to the bathroom in the middle of the night, taking medications, personal hygiene and other forms of self-care. These homes will provide 24 hour access to onsite staff.
There will be houses built for assisted living including with bathroom facilities attached to each room. Each home will have staff on site to oversee the maintenance and care of the home.
The independent living will provide housing for seniors who are in need of minimal or no help. The houses will offer meals and seniors will have opportunities to be part of planned activities and recreation.
